INSTRUCTIONS F1 1998

A lot of people have trouble by getting on the server. if this happens you installed the wrong mod. Important note for the steps below: Do not join the server until all steps are done. Also just in case make a backup.

0) Only do this step if you tried join the server with the wrong mod, otherwise go to step 1! If you never had a 1998 mod installed go to step 2)
First be sure that you are NOT subscribed to this one, if so, unsubscribe

Steam Workshop::McLaren F1-1998

Go to the package manager and delete F1_1998_silver_test. Also to be sure search for 98/1998 packages and uninstall those from the package manager. (some packages need to be removed first because they are dependend on eachother if they dont uninstall). Quit the game.

1) Uninstall all your current subscribed 1998 workshop items. If you don't it will be conflicting with the other mod and it won't work. Be the game is closed while doing this/

2) Subscribe to this mod https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1515650133

3) subsribe to this skin pack https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1616817158&searchtext=mclaren

4) Subscribe to Silverstone 2012 circuit https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=917387157&searchtext=silverstone

5) start game and join the server and it should work. (If it doesn't I am afraid you missed a package)


There are chances some of the steps I wrote here are unclear, so let me know.
